Let’s join the two sentences together:
She is  very helpful and is ready to help people any time.

1. To use and、but、or
A) I help him_____he helps me.

Which do you like better, apples_____oranges?
B)  And: 用来连接两个语法相同的词短语或句子，表示并列或附加关系。
But: 用来连接两个有对立或对照性关系的词短语或句子，表示一种转折。“但是，然而”
Or: “或者”，表示一种选择关系。
Do you like tea or coffee?
C) The use of “or”
可能性，选择。“或”   What would you like, coffee or tea?
用在否定词后面。“也不”  There isn’t any food or water here.
“否则，不然”   Wear your coat, or you’ll be cold.
2 Work out the rule.
When the two subjects (主语) are the same, we do not need to repeat (重复) the first one.
3 Conclusion
We use ‘and’, ‘but’ and ‘or’ to join ideas together.
We use ‘and’ to join ideas that are similar.
We use ‘but’ to join ideas that are different.
We use ‘or’ to join possibilities or options.
