一、章节分析
(一)综述
本章节学习should和ought to,章节分为两部分,第一部分要求学生学会使用should和ought to表达什么是应该做的和不该做的,并学会should和ought to的否定和疑问形式。第二部分要求学生运用should和ought to来纠正别人的错误。
(二)目标
学习并运用should和ought to,结合教学内容教育学生在日常生活中该做的和不该做的。
(三)重点和难点
1. should, ought to的肯定、否定和疑问形式。
2. 生词和词组:
neatly adv. 整洁地 tidily adv. 整齐地 typewriter n. 打字机
typist n. 打字员
二、教学设计(Teaching Designs)
教学内容: Language
教学实施建议:
Talking about what it is best or right todo
1 Ask some questions about the text:
What did Tony suggest at the meeting?
What did Joyce say after she took charge of the meeting?
2 Tell the students should and ought to can be usesd to make suggestions about what it is best to do.
3 Exercise A1
4 Show some pictures to the students and ask the students whether they are doing sth. right or wrong.
5 Ask the students what the people on the picture should do or shouldn‘t do.
6 Tell the students we can use ‘should‘ and ‘ought to‘ to express our strong belief that sth is right and is our duty.
7 Practise ‘should‘ and ‘ought to‘.
8 Exercise A2, A3
Correcting people
1 Tell the students we can use ‘should‘ and ‘ought to‘ when we want to correct people.
2 Show some pictures and ask the students to correct the mistakes people made by using ‘should‘ and ‘ought to‘.
3 Exercise on page 84
