一 题材内容
本模块以娱乐为话题,对话内容是关于萨莉来中国访问演出的情况。利用学生比较喜欢的娱乐内容进行教学有助于激发学生的参与意识和学习动机。语法重点是学习直接引语和间接引语。通过对话,采用隐性的教学方式,使学生在无意识的情况下掌握语言结构,既学习语言知识, 又感悟语言功能,真正做到了语法为语义表达服务。
1语言知识:
语音 能够了解和掌握间接引语的断句方法
词汇 among, awake, sleepy, too, worried
语法 能够熟悉直接引语和间接引语的转换规则
功能 能够转述他人的话语
话题 以“娱乐“为话题。
2 语言技能
听 能听懂有关娱乐话题的广播节目,提取具体信息。
说 能谈论影视娱乐节目,发表看法,谈自己的喜好。
读 能读懂电影简介及评论;明白文章的主旨大意,提高理解文章结构的技能
写 能够用间接引语转述别人说的话。
演示与表达 发表自己对影视节目的看法话喜好。
3 学习策略 学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。
自学策略 能够根据自己的情况预习教材和拓展。能注意发现语言现象背后的规律,并能运用规律举一反三。
合作学习策略 能够根据小组内同学的特长分工合作,互相学习,取长补短,注意从他人的演示中汲取经验,注意学习策略共享.
4文化意识
了解不同国家的影视文化。
5 情感态度:
能够与影视中的人物共同感受,在欣赏影视的同时发展对影视对兴趣。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。
6 任务:能够运用所学相关语言知识发表对娱乐节目的看法。
三 教学重点和难点
重点:1了解采访Sally的对话,掌握直接引语和间接引语的转换规则。
难点:运用直接引语和间接引语于对话中。
四 教学方法
基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论“,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“P-T-P“自主学习立体模式:pre-task...task-cycle...post-task。
五 教材处理
核心任务:能够收集有关影视的信息,运用所学句型结构、运用恰当词语发表对娱乐节目的看法。三个环节如下:
pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。
task -cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化运用恰当词语发表对娱乐节目的看法的表达能力,为完成任务做好铺垫
post-task:达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况

Teaching Content: Listening and Vocabulary and Pronunciation and Speaking
Teaching Aims and Demands:
1.Language Knowledge
Key vocabulary: among, awake, sleepy, too, worried, fight
Key structure: She said she was with some classmates from London.
    She explained that her visit was all about making friends.
2.Listening skill: To get specific information from the conversation about Sally‘s interview.
3.Speaking skill: To talk about entertainment using direct speech and indirect speech.
4. Attitudes: To take active part in the activities.
Learning strategies:
Bottom -up approach and listening to the tape and do some exercises.
Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (Tape recorder, video, OHP, handout)

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warming- up
Aim: To make the students more active in class Sing a song
Step2.Lead-in
Aim: To create an atmosphere of learning English and involve the students to it as quickly as possible.
T:My name is .... I am from ...
T: What did I say?
S: You said that you were ... .
T: So far we have known much about an English girl named Sally. Could you say something about her?
What did she tell us?
Do you want to know how everything is going with Sally?
Let‘s listen to a dialogue.
Step3 Listening and vocabulary
一 Task: Listen and write notes in activity 1 on page 48.
1: Read through the questions.
2: Play the recording and have them listen to the recording and focus on the questions first time through. Then listen again and answer the questions.
3: Then Call back the answer from the whole class.
4: Play the recording again for the Ss to check and consolidate.
二Task: To understand conversations .
1: Ask the Ss to look at the the questions on the screen.
What does the man say about Sally?
What does the man think of the music?
What does the man tell the listeners to do if they‘re awake?
What does the man tell the listeners to do if they‘re too sleepy?
2: Play the recording and have them listen.
3: Play the recording again and have them answer the questions individually.
4: Call back the answer from the whole class, having one student ask a question and another answer.
5: Pay particular attention to those words where the stress is not on the first syllable: among, awake, believe, fantastic.
Step4 Listening and reading:
一 Task To understand conversation 2 .
1: Ask the Ss to look at the questions on the screen.
Why didn‘t Betty hear Sally‘s interview on the radio?
What does Sally think is the main reason for her visit?
Why did Daming want to clap and cheer

1: Have them read the passage and write notes about what Sally said in the interview with Chen Hua individually in Activity 5.
2: Have them check their answers with a partner
3: Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.
4: Play the recording again and have them check.
三 .Task: Listen and read:
1: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and read the conversation.
2: Play the recording again and pause after each phrase,
asking the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually.
3: Put the Ss. into groups of 3 to practise the dialogue.
4: They should repeat it several times, changing the roles each time.
Step4: Pronunciation
Task: Listen and repeat in Activity 6
1: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and repeat in Activity 6.
2: Ask the Ss to practise with a partner.
3: Play it once more for the Ss to repeat chorally and individually.
Step5: Speaking
Task: Tell each other what your partner said.
1: Ask and answer questions about entertainment .Ask the Ss to make a list of what they said.
2: Ask the Ss to tell each other what your partner said.
3: Circulate and monitor production, paying special attention to the use of direct speech and indirect speech.
4: Let some pairs come to the front to act it out.
5: Pair the Ss for further practice.
Step6: A test
Ask the Ss to do Ex 1 on page 116 and hand in immediately .
Step7: Homework: Recite the short dialogue as fluently as possible.
